I got to visit campus for a couple of days in February to check on renovations, meet with prospective PhD students, and start planning my move to Chicago. Office space renovations are complete, and the lab should be complete this summer. (Sneak preview available here.)  An exciting realization of this visit is that the next time I am in town, I will get to stay for good!
